Dear Friends,

Jesus, in the Sermon on the Mount, told his followers, "love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you." In the wake of tragic events in Charleston, we listen to God's instructions and seek healing in obeying Him. Please join us in that search at a Prayer Vigil on Friday, June 19 at 5PM. We will gather at the Bethel AME Church and call out for consolation.

Take good care,

The Bethel AME Church Family

Hello Everybody,

Are you interested in what it takes to be "the children of your Father which is in heaven"? If so, be among the number at Bible Study tonight. We will look further into Matthew and discover how to pay more attention to God's reactions and less to the world's. We would be thrilled to host you.

Sincerely,

The Stewards of Bethel AME

Good afternoon folks,

Signs of summer are sprouting all around us, and within the changes, we see the hand of our God. If you want to think about how such visions can be shared with others, we invite you to Bible Study tonight. We will continue our journey through Matthew where we are investigating what Jesus taught about discipleship. As always, your presence would be welcomed.

Sincerely,

The Stewards of Bethel AME

Dear Friends,

This hump day may be a sign that the week is wearing you out, but a chance for filling fellowship is available. Come out tonight as Pastor Bryant teaches us from Matthew 5. By looking at how Jesus drew disciples, we will learn how we can partner with him in that ministry. See you this evening.

Sincerely,

The Stewards of Bethel AME

First Friday Prayer, May 1 12:45-1:45

Dear Friends,

From Nepal, India to Baltimore, Maryland, we hear calls for help. The church must answer such calls, and at the same time, we should keep our eyes on the wounded spirits that walk the streets of our neighborhoods. The best preparation for vigilance is talking to our Creator. Early tomorrow afternoon, we will gather to call on Him. Please come out to Bethel AME at 12:45pm and join us.

Sincerely,

The Bethel AME Church Family

Good Friday Prayer, April 3, 12:45PM

Good morning everyone,

As you prepare for this evening's Good Friday worship service, we invite you to join us at 12:45pm for the Easter installment of First Friday prayer. Today, we'll remember Jesus and his disciples in the Garden of Gethsemane. When we think about the Lord's attitude even in the face of our unfaithfulness, we realize that nothing but his blood secured our salvation. Prayer prepared him to do what God wanted him to do. Let us pray so that we too can be encouraged. We look forward to your presence.

Warmly,

The Bethel Church Family
